Cookie Policy
In accordance with current legislation on the protection of personal data and privacy, through this policy, Accyourate Group S.p.A., with registered office in L’Aquila (67100), Strada Statale 17, as the data controller (hereinafter also referred to as the “Controller”), intends to provide users with all relevant information regarding the cookies installed on this website (the “Website”).
This document forms an integral part of the privacy policy, available here.
- WHAT ARE COOKIES AND OTHER TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES
Cookies are small text strings that websites visited by the user send to the computer and to any device used to access the Internet (such as smartphones and tablets), where they are stored and then retransmitted to the same sites upon the user’s next visit.
Cookies can be stored permanently and have a variable duration (so-called persistent cookies), but they can also disappear when the browser is closed or have a limited duration (so-called session cookies). Similarly, cookies may be installed by the website you are visiting (so-called first-party cookies), but also by other websites (so-called third-party cookies) and may be used for various purposes, such as performing user authentication, session tracking, and storing information regarding the activities of users accessing a specific website.
Based on their purpose, the cookies installed on the Website can be categorized as follows: technical cookies, functional cookies, analytical cookies and profiling cookies.
A script is a piece of program code that is used to make our website function properly and interactively. This code is executed on our server or on your device. A web beacon (or a pixel tag) is, instead, a small, invisible piece of text or image on a website that is used to monitor traffic on a website. To do this, various data about you is stored using web beacons.
- TYPES OF COOKIES
- TECHNICAL COOKIES
Technical cookies are necessary for the proper functioning of the Website and to offer the user a smooth, uninterrupted browsing experience (e.g., to allow the user to maintain access to restricted areas for the duration of their visit to the Website), as well as to correctly provide the services the user requests while browsing.
Specifically, the technical cookies that will be sent to the user’s device are:
Cookie Name | Source and purpose | Duration |
cmplz_consented_services | Complianz plugin. Stores the list of services to which the user has given consent. | 1 year |
cmplz_policy_id | Complianz plugin. Recording of acceptance of the cookie policy version. | 1 year |
cmplz_marketing | Complianz plugin. Storage of preferences regarding marketing cookies. | 1 year |
cmplz_statistics | 1 year
cmplz_preferences | 1 year
cmplz_functional | 1 year
cmplz_banner-status | 1 year
wordpress_test_cookie | Session duration |
As previously noted, the use of technical cookies and the processing activities associated with them do not require the user’s prior consent. The legal basis permitting the processing of such data is, in fact, the performance of services requested directly by the data subject (Art. 6.1(b) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 – “GDPR”).
- FUNCTIONALITY COOKIES
These cookies are intended solely to improve and speed up navigation on the Website by storing certain choices made by the user (such as language preferences, preferences regarding user authentication for the duration of the session, or preferences regarding the use of multimedia content on the site).
Specifically, the functionality cookies that will be sent to the user’s device are:
Cookie Name | Source and purpose | Duration |
wpEmojiSettingsSupports | Session duration
Wp_lang | WordPress. | Session duration |
Since these cookies are installed in response to services requested directly by the user, they do not require the user’s consent. For this reason, they will be processed by the Data Controller in the same manner as technical cookies.
- ANALYTICAL COOKIES
In line with the most advanced European guidelines on the installation of this specific type of cookie, the Website uses analytics, for which the user is required to give their consent. Specifically, information is collected on how users interact with the Website (number of visitors, pages visited, time spent on the site, conversions, etc.). This information is used by the Data Controller, in particular, to improve the Site’s functionality, allowing, for example, the recording of any errors detected by users and thereby ensuring a smoother and more responsive browsing experience.
Specifically, the analytical cookies that will be sent to the user’s device are:
Cookie name | Source and purpose | Duration |
_ga | Google Analytics. Distinguishes unique users to generate statistics on visits and page views. | 2 years |
_ga_* | Google Analytics. Used to maintain the user’s session status in relation to the statistics of the _ga cookie. | 2 years |
lms_analytics | LinkedIn. | 30 days |
AnalyticsSyncHistory | LinkedIn. | 30 days |
elementor | Elementor. Used by the Elementor page builder to ensure the proper functioning of the website and to store user actions and interface preferences. | persistent |
Since these cookies collect data only in aggregate form, so as not to make users identifiable in any way, they are treated as technical cookies. However, if these cookies are implemented in conjunction with other features that do not allow for the exclusion of the data subject’s identification, their installation will be subject to the user’s prior consent.
- PROFILING COOKIES
Profiling cookies are those designed to collect information regarding users’ behaviour while browsing the Website, for advertising and marketing purposes, to enable the detection and, where possible, the prediction of the user’s tastes, interests, preferences, and habits. This category may also include cookies of other types, such as analytical cookies, where they are suitable for providing insights into users’ online behaviour. Consequently, the installation of both types of cookies is subject to the prior acquisition of the user’s consent.
Confirming deactivation upon accessing the Site, or revoking consent within the control panel (accessible via the following section), regarding the use of one or more profiling cookies (including those installed by social networks) will in no way affect your ability to access or browse the Website.
- COOKIE MANAGEMENT
When accessing any page of the Website, the user is shown a banner explaining how cookies are managed and the choices available to them, with the option to obtain further information by consulting this detailed policy. Before continuing to browse, the user is invited to review this policy and is asked to indicate their preferences regarding the installation of optional cookies on their browser. To this end, the user has the option to accept the installation of all cookies by clicking the ‘ACCEPT’ button, to accept only strictly necessary cookies by clicking the ‘ACCEPT ONLY STRICTLY NECESSARY COOKIES‘ button or the ‘X’ button to close the banner and, finally, to manage preferences in detail by clicking “VIEW PREFERENCES”, where it is possible to enable or disable each cookies category individually.
You can review your cookie preferences at any time by clicking on the icon located at the bottom right of the Website.
- HOW TO DISABLE COOKIES IN YOUR BROWSER
In accordance with applicable regulations, particularly regarding the simplified methods by which each user can express their preference not to have one or more specific types of non-essential cookies installed (i.e., to opt out), you may modify your consent at any time—if already given—to the installation of individual optional cookies via the dedicated panel accessible by clicking the active corner (with a gear icon) in the bottom right corner.
In any case, if desired, the user can also manage cookies directly through their browser settings, following the instructions provided at the following links:
However, by deleting cookies in this way, the user may remove the preferences set for this Website, which is why it would be advisable to visit this page periodically to review them.
Additional ways to prevent cookies from being installed on the user’s device include the option to:
- reject third-party cookies by default using certain features of some browsers;
- enable the “Do Not Track” option (automatic suspension of the collection of certain browsing data) available in most modern browsers;
- enable incognito mode.
Please note, however, that disabling cookies may complicate navigation or prevent you from moving freely from one page to another, thereby preventing you from fully utilizing all the features of the Website.
- USER RIGHTS
At any time and without any formalities, the user may exercise the rights granted to them by current legislation on the protection of personal data by requesting from the Data Controller:
- access: to obtain confirmation as to whether or not data concerning them is being processed, as well as further clarification regarding the information set forth in this policy, and to receive the data itself, within reasonable limits;
- Rectification: to have the data provided or otherwise held by the Data Controller corrected or supplemented if it is inaccurate;
- deletion: to ensure that your data processed by the Data Controller is deleted, if no longer necessary for the purposes outlined above, or where there are no pending disputes or controversies, or in the event of withdrawal of consent or objection to processing, or in the event of unlawful processing, or finally if there is a legal obligation to delete;
- Restriction: to obtain a temporary suspension of the processing of your personal data, when one of the conditions set forth in Article 18 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”) applies;
- objection: ensuring that the Data Controller must refrain from continuing to process your data on the basis of its legitimate interest, unless we have legitimate grounds for processing that override those of the user, for example, for the exercise or defense of a right in court. Your objection will always and in any case prevail over the Data Controller’s legitimate interest in processing your data for marketing purposes;
- Portability: to receive your data, or have it transmitted to another controller, in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format.
Furthermore, pursuant to Article 7.3 of the GDPR, you may exercise your right to withdraw consent at any time, without this affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent given prior to such withdrawal.
Finally, the user has the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority at any time.
For any further information or questions regarding the processing activities, as well as to exercise the rights mentioned above, you may contact info@panetta.it.
